The East Fork of the Bitterroot does NOT have any "Hoot Owl" restrictions placed on this stream. This is a wade anglers paradise. Easy to get around with great access off of Hwy 93 makes this a popular wade fishing destination. Hoppers, Ants, Beetles and smaller mayflies have been playing well. Keep an eye on the water temps, as this stream tends to warm up in the later afternoons. Be cautious on the upper end above Sula, the fire activity has some road closures.
